 A sounding board

This second edition of La Lettre Féret is intended as a small digest of news from the Gironde vineyard, which we hope will be as useful as it is enjoyable.
In keeping with the previous letter, we invite you to meet a personality from the vineyard. This time, it is Marie Lefévère, the owner of Châteaux Sansonnet, Villemaurine, Soutard-Cadet and Moulin du Cadet.

This Letter has been expanded with two new sections. One covers innovations in the industry and the other the news from the vineyard. Two spaces to say, with our partner INNOV’IN, how much Bordeaux is renewing itself and, lastly, to echo the novelties and initiatives of the winegrowers of the Bordeaux region.

A major influencer

Finally, we had to thank you for your many positive responses and for sharing the 2023 en primeur ratings on your networks and sites. The distinguished tasters Bernard Grandchamp, a former manager of wine estates and a taster for the Guide Hachette des Vins, Étienne Khemtémourian, a trainer, winemaker and former contributor to the RVF, and Gianni Degl’Innocenti, a professional sommelier and speaker, tasted nearly 500 wines for the occasion. While this figure remains impressive, we are already committed to doing better next year. A notable contribution that should ultimately position us as an important influencer. We remain convinced that Féret will now have its full role to play in this key, if not decisive, moment of the year.

Tasting rooms in the heart of Bordeaux

Did you know that, to prepare for your new season, Féret can provide rooms in the exceptional setting of the Hôtel Fenwick – 1 cours Xavier Arnozan in Bordeaux – for you to present your wines? Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
In addition, Féret can provide anyone, on simple request, with a wealth of wine archives. A precious tool, it seems to us, for building a fine storytelling and underpinning your communication on reliable historical foundations.

Faithfully yours,

Henry Clemens
