Château La Mission Haut-Brion
Prestigious auction
On 7 November, Sotheby’s London will hold an exceptional sale of wines from Château La Mission Haut-Brion. The event will showcase the 40 vintages produced since the Dillon family acquired the estate in 1983, as well as earlier wines dating from 1920 to 1982.
Château de Saint-Pey
New connected cellar
In September, the estate inaugurated its new cellar, marking Frédéric Stévenin’s ambition to modernise and to make it the “most digital château in Bordeaux”. After “smart spraying” in the vineyard, it is now winemaking’s turn to be digitalised. The new vats, equipped with an automatic pumping-over system, allow remote control of temperatures and CO2 levels via smartphone, offering great flexibility. For the 2024 vintage, a partnership with Nadalié and the ISVV aims to study the influence of wood on wine in order to standardise barrels according to specific profiles. A room is also dedicated to experiments with foudres, amphorae and concrete vats.

Château Latour-Martillac
Almost a century!
The iconic label of Château Latour-Martillac, created in 1934, celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. Barred in gold and sable, it is inspired by the tasting notebook of Alfred Kressmann, owner of the estate from 1930.
Influenced by Art Deco, the label bears elegant geometric lines and contrasting colours, a sober and refined style. Despite a few adjustments over the years, its original design has been preserved. Present on all the estate’s wines, the label incorporates a strong central symbol: a lioness from the Kressmann coat of arms, first engraved in the 15th century.

Château Sénilhac
White from black
Château Sénilhac presents its Blanc de Nuit cuvée, a white wine made from Merlot Noir, the usual grape variety of red wines in the Bordeaux region. Harvested at night, the grapes keep all their freshness and give this wine a unique style.
