Edition Janvier 2025 — 8 January 2025

This Month’s Innovations with INNO’VIN

Terclimpro 2025 : your privileged access to the latest scientific advances to prepare the viticulture of tomorrow!

‍

Wine industry professionals, UMR EGFV, Vitinnov, IVES and INNO’VIN invite you to Bordeaux on 18/02 at Bordeaux Sciences Agro and, new for this second edition for even greater proximity, to Cognac on 19/02 at Grégoire Cognac.
Discover the latest research advances on the effects of climate, soil type and cultivation practices on wine terroirs and wine production, explore new adaptation strategies to meet these challenges and come and debate the priorities for the industry!

This day will offer keys to understanding in order to look to the future while taking into account climate change and adaptation strategies for the vineyard. Environmental issues, terroir preservation and climate change directly affect grape production. They profoundly disrupt viticulture and call established cultivation practices into question. Terroir is a fragile balance, dependent on a complex interaction between various factors, among which climate plays a crucial role. This dynamic directly influences the growth and development of the vine, the composition of the grapes and, ultimately, the organoleptic characteristics of the wines. To address these field-level issues, the organising team has selected talks from the scientific congresses “Giesco 2023” (Cornell, USA, July 2023) and “International Terroir Congress 2024” (Mendoza, Argentina, November 2024). These will be presented in French by international experts.
