In recent years, there has been a real craze for cooking, with more and more people wanting to acquire or perfect their culinary skills. Château Gruaud-Larose gives you the opportunity to do just that, and invites you to take a half-day plunge into the heart of local gastronomy. In the presence of a passionate chef, you’ll help to prepare a typically regional menu while learning techniques and tricks of the trade. To round off the morning, participants will gather around a table in the Château’s dining room to savour and discuss their creations, all accompanied by wines selected by them.

From the top of the château’s tower, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Médoc coastline, its vineyards and the estuary. As you gaze into the distance, you’ll be immersed in the fabulous history of the château, its terroirs and its wine. You’ll then be introduced to some of the secrets of this Grand Cru Classé through a complete tour of the magnificent cellars and vats at Château Gruaud Larose. The tour ends with a visit to the exceptional underground installations, followed by a tasting of three wines.
