Château Gruaud-Larose gives you the opportunity to do just that, and invites you to take a half-day plunge into the heart of local gastronomy. In the presence of a passionate chef, you’ll help to prepare a typically regional menu while learning techniques and tricks of the trade. To round off the morning, participants will gather around a table in the Château’s dining room to savour and discuss their creations, all accompanied by wines selected by them.

On this walk, you’ll discover the history of the estate, its terroir, its environment and the work of its men. You’ll wind your way through the avenues of vines and learn about cultivation techniques. You’ll admire the richness of the land between vineyards and marshes, as well as the local biodiversity. Next, you’ll discover the facilities and gain a better understanding of the new environmental practices that are leading Château Gruaud-Larose towards organic farming. The tour continues with a visit to the cellars and a tasting of three wines and honey.
