Clos des Jacobins

This pretty estate, set in the heart of the Saint-Émilion vineyard, on a high, gently undulating plain, gives a complete wine that, far from betraying its origin, expresses and exalts it. It lives up to its name. Generous, it has a fine colour, a very delicate bouquet and an attractive velvetiness.
It owes its eminent qualities to the two noble grape varieties of this region. But it is also the care given to the land and the vines, the attentive picking, and the vinification carried out by master hands — those of a master winegrower — in a cellar of classical tradition, that together make the quality of Clos des Jacobins.
What a name! And what does it shelter? The archives do not reveal it, but popular history attributes to it a revolutionary origin. Even if it is so by its name, which sounds good, it remains a noble and elegant ambassador of the Saint-Émilion vineyard.
