Château Moulin-de-la-Rose, nicknamed by a famous food critic “Lilliput among the Giants of the Médoc”, is located on the best rises of Beychevelle. Split into many plots, almost all enclaved within châteaux of worldwide reputation (Léoville-Las-Cases, Léoville-Barton, Beychevelle, Ducru-Beaucaillou, Gruaud-Larose…), it is the object of careful attention, both in the vineyard and in vinification.
A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot enables it to produce full-bodied, tannic wines — while retaining suppleness —, with a rich bouquet and great finesse, worthy of appearing on the best tables.
From a family of winegrowers for seven generations, Guy Delon is also the owner of Château Ségur de Cabanac in Saint-Estèphe.
