This estate facing the church was bought by the family in 1886 from a Bordeaux négociant, to enlarge a vineyard already existing at Monprimblanc.
Located on the heights of the commune, château Bourdieu Lagrange overlooks the right bank of the Garonne and faces the Sauternes region.
History has it that the house was a hunting lodge of the Duke of Épernon.
Several generations have worked to transform this estate into a 40-hectare vineyard, spread over several appellations. Indeed, this vineyard produces a very complete and varied range of wines, from the noble Bordeaux grape varieties.
The nature of the gravelly, gravel-clay and clay-limestone land, the care given to cultivation, and the vinification methods, an alliance of tradition and new techniques, are the best guarantees of the quality of its wines.
