🚴♂️ Bike to Care – A charity event at Château Haut-Bailly
Bordeaux is about to host the 4th edition of Bike to Care, a unique charity event combining sport, gastronomy and the world of wine.
📅 On 16 and 17 June 2025, international teams made up of big names in restaurants and sommellerie will cycle through the prestigious Bordeaux terroirs for an essential cause: supporting hospitality and restaurant professionals, and encouraging the training of tomorrow’s talent.
Following the success of previous editions (more than a million euros raised for charities), Châteaux Giscours, Haut-Bailly, Lynch-Bages and Montrose are joining forces for this 4th edition. The route will cover more than 200 km across the Médoc, Graves and Saint-Émilion.
This year, the French producers’ team will ride in support of the Association Jean-Claude Vrinat. A fine commitment to follow!
🎨 New artwork at Château Smith Haut Lafitte – “Les Ancêtres du Futur”
Château Smith Haut Lafitte is pleased to announce the arrival of a new sculpture in its Art et Vignes trail, which now includes 28 contemporary works integrated into the estate’s landscape.
Created in 2022 by Gloria Friedmann, the work Les Ancêtres du Futur (The Ancestors of the Future) is a monumental terracotta sculpture 3 metres high. It depicts a human figure crowned by the animal kingdom, in a powerful allegory of the relationship between man and nature.
This creation fits fully with the château’s approach: marrying viticultural excellence and artistic expression, to offer visitors a unique experience of nature, art and wine.
