Château Raymond Tapon

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru • 4 HA

The estate

In brief

A family property since the 16th century, Château Raymond Tapon was broken up considerably over the generations.
Now made up of 4 hectares in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, this estate benefits from the same care lavished by Vignobles Raymond Tapon on their other estates: Château des Moines and Château Gay-Moulins in Montagne-Saint-Émilion, Château La Croix Saint Jean in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, Château Sirène du château Bellevue in the A.O.C. Bordeaux and Sirène Madame Tapon in the A.O.C. Bordeaux Blanc.
Château Raymond Tapon offers fine wines. On the palate, a fine marriage of red fruit (plums, cherries) and the oak of barrel ageing melts into powerful tannins giving this wine a long keeping potential.
