The estate

In brief

Château Petit-Village, with its charming and prestigious name, is located in the heart of Pomerol, on the magnificent clay-gravel plateau, among the finest growths in the region. The Petit-Village vineyard has been offering its wine to admirers from all over the world for a very long time, since the oldest oral and handwritten traditions have no record of its origins. At the highest point of the Graves plateau, which forms the heart of the Pomerol appellation, Château Petit-Village forms a vast equilateral triangle. The estate belonged to AXA Millésimes from 1989 to 2020, when it was acquired by the Moulin family. Although it has a very distinct personality, the wine of Petit-Village is reminiscent of both the Grand Crus of the Médoc and the best Clos of Burgundy. In a way, it is a synthesis of the two, combining the delicate fragrance of the former with the robust structure of the latter. Lovingly and jealously cultivated, the soil of Château Petit-Village will always ensure the reputation of its wine, which is sought after by all those who have had the privilege of appreciating it, and the current team intends to take it to its highest level.
