An enclosure of 4 hectares, adjoining Château Figeac, the clay-sand soil of Château Petit-Clos-Figeac, containing a high proportion of iron residues, makes it a wine of sought-after suppleness and bouquet.
These qualities are obtained thanks to the choice of grape varieties and the nature of the soil, as well as the care given to the cultivation of the vine and modern vinification methods. Its production is about 20 barrels.
MM. Guy and Michel Janoueix also own Château Grand-Fortin and the Domaine de La Bourrue in Saint-Émilion, as well as Château Grate-Cap and Château Samson in Pomerol, which have also won several awards at the Concours Agricole de Paris.
Sales are made by direct sale to private customers, on site and by mail order.
