Château la Valière

Château La Valière is located on the gravel rises of Saint-Christoly, which overlook the Gironde. Known since 1874 under the name Château des Chalets, this growth was classified in 1932 among the Crus Bourgeois.
It was acquired a few years ago by MM. Cailloux, who gave it the name: Château La Valière.
Patiently rebuilt, its 15-hectare vineyard in a single block, enjoying a very favourable exposure, is planted exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The meticulous vinification remains respectful of tradition in the making of a wine distinguished by its bouquet and finesse.
In 2011, this growth became the property of the Pagès family, owner of Château La Tour de By.
