Enlarged by the many successive inheritances of the Brossard family, Château Haut-Beauséjour was bought in 1992 by Champagne Louis Roederer. Major vineyard renovation work (replanting, new plantings) was then carried out over 2 years and today enables Château Haut-Beauséjour to have one of the very fine vineyards of the appellation. The high planting density allows a low load per vine and therefore excellent ripeness.
The first vines date from 1950 and particular attention is paid to them because they give the future wine great quality and complexity.
In 1993, the vat room and cellars were entirely renovated in the château’s original style in order to respect its character while bringing in numerous qualitative criteria. The estate has been planted regularly since its formation until today.
