Château Godeau

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru • 5.6 HA

The estate

In brief

Located in the heart of the prestigious hillsides of Saint-Émilion, Château Godeau, neighbour of illustrious estates such as La Mondotte and Tertre Rotebœuf, was acquired at the end of 2012 by the Florisoone family.
Heirs to a long winemaking tradition and former co-owners of Château Calon Ségur, Albéric and Agnès Florisoone wished to give full expression to their passion for the land and viticulture by developing the potential of this pretty 7-hectare property.
Helped by the existing team and by Stéphane Derenoncourt as consultant, this young generation is today giving its vineyard a new impetus made up of rigorous work, patient effort and constant demand, mixed with a touch of daring.
This philosophy, combined with a magnificent terroir, makes Château Godeau one of the great heirs of its appellation.
