In the heart of the Graves, château du Mayne is the cradle of the Perromat family, which has managed the estate for five generations.
Jean and Suzanne Perromat, direct heirs to ancestral know-how, have created wines with marked personalities.
Xavier Perromat, their youngest son, took part in the development of the property. When he acquired château de Cérons in 2012, he took on château du Mayne on a tenancy with his wife Caroline.
The 4-ha vineyard that surrounds it is made up of gravel soil over an Asteries limestone subsoil (limestone of marine origin).
Château du Mayne produces red Graves and white Graves wines.
With the technical team that supports them, Xavier and Caroline Perromat are committed to signing their wines with the elegant and precise imprint of this magnificent family terroir.
