The estate

In brief

It was in 1965 that Léo Chanfreau created this vineyard, which extends over the hillside of Bouqueyran. This Cru Bourgeois, Château Chemin Royal, owes its name to the legend that a king of England once stopped on the shore of the nearby Fonréaud pond. The vinification, ageing and bottling of this cru are carried out in the facilities of Château Fonréaud.
