Château Carcanieux and its renowned vineyard are located on a high plateau.
Very modern cellars allow traditional and vigilant vinification in stainless steel vats, whose main characteristics are controlled fermentation, a long maceration and ageing in oak barrels.
The result is a great classic wine, deep and intense in colour, with the frank, open and original bouquet that is the hallmark of the “great Bordeaux”, in which one discovers a variety of aromatic nuances such as fruit flavours, a scent of cedar, pine resin and so on.
