Château Brane-Cantenac looks back over four centuries of prestigious Bordeaux families. In the 19th century, Baron Hector de Brane, nicknamed the “Napoleon of the vines”, sublimated the land and enabled the Château to be considered the “1st of the Seconds”. Owned by the Lurton family since 1925, it has been passed down through the generations by a family driven by its high standards, where the links between the elders and the younger generations have enabled the estate to be handed down. The 2022 vintage bears witness to this: Henri is celebrating its thirtieth vintage this year, and the wines are the expression of 73 hectares of Margaux AOC. 2019 marks the refocusing of the blend on Terrasse 4, at the top of the Cantenac plateau. It is “the heart of Brane”: aromas, exceptional quality of tannins, elegance and finesse are the fruit.
