Château Bonneau-Livran, located at the place known as Livran, belonged before 1793 to M. de Bonneau, son-in-law of the lord of the village, who gave it his name.
At the Revolution, all its assets became national property, and after being sold several times, this estate was bought in 1901 by M. Micalaudy. It was taken over in 1995 by S.A. Sogecondroz.
The vineyard produces full-bodied, deeply coloured wines with a delicate bouquet, suited to long ageing.
The wine is aged in the traditional way in barrels, then bottled, to be sold largely to a private clientele.
