Château Bellegrave

The estate

In brief

The vineyards of Château Bellegrave, formerly owned by the late Mr Armand Roux, were acquired in 1901 by his partner and sole successor, Mr H.J.A. van der Voort. The Meffre vineyards, which operate Château Glana in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, acquired the property in 1997, and the vines on this estate, which is surrounded by several of the Médoc’s Crus Classés, touch those of the greatest châteaux in Pauillac. It is certainly one of the oldest vineyards in this privileged region, planted with the best and finest grape varieties.
