The estate

In brief

In 1959, Monsieur Louis de La Tour du Fayet acquired château Gueyrot in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
In 1983, the La Tour du Fayets considered Fronsac an appellation with a future. Châteaux Beau Site de la Tour and Clos Lagüe are superbly exposed on the Fronsac hillock. The vineyard grew from 9 to 12.5 hectares, and all the conditions were in place to make a great wine. And still with this quality in mind, château Beau Site de la Tour and more particularly Clos Lagüe bear the signature of an exceptional terroir: green harvest, selection of plots, strict control of yields, vinification in the purest Bordeaux tradition, ageing in oak casks…
