Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Bordeaux

About

The Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry is rooted in the history of wine in Bordeaux: the importance of the Place de Bordeaux, the 1855 classification of the great growths, the international wine trade... It contributes to bringing this history to life in the present and, above all, the future. Vinexpo, created in 1981, remains a key event where supply and demand for the world's wines meet. The exhibition itself has moved closer to the "strongholds" of the world market and the importance it has assumed today in Hong Kong is a testament to its vitality and allows it to carry the colors of Bordeaux and its wines to markets in strong development.

Another vector for the image of our wines is training. Worldsome, Kedge's Global MBA Wine and Spirits and the IPC Vin train those who are at the heart of the wine market, from senior executives wishing to play a leading role in the international wine market to the elite of the sommelier profession.

Finally, wine tourism, promoted in its international dimension by the network of capitals of great vineyards, contributes more and more to the promotion of our wines, our wine landscapes, and more broadly our wine culture.

The Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry's ambition is to promote not only wine and spirits producing countries, but also all consumer countries, in terms of training and wine tourism.
