Biography

After studying science at university, he joined the ENITA of Bordeaux in 1965, which became the National School of Agronomic Sciences of Bordeaux Aquitaine (Bordeaux Sciences Agro), where he obtained the diploma of agricultural engineer in 1968.

Having to do his military service, he went to Niger as part of the technical cooperation at IRAT (Institute of Tropical Agronomic Research) where he deepened his agronomic knowledge on millet, rice, peanuts and sugar cane as an agronomic manager.

Back in France in 1970, he worked for more than 40 years in viticulture. First, in research on the phytosanitary protection of vineyards, then in viticultural consulting (installation and planting of a vineyard, management and protection of the vineyard).
