A family estate for 4 generations, Château Vieille Tour La Rose is located on the north flank of the Saint-Émilion hillside. This estate is characterised by the constant attention and care given to growing the vine and to vinification, which remains traditional.
The wines are aged in oak casks, where they spend 18 months. Each year, the entire production is bottled at the château, about 18 months after the harvest.
Château Vieille Tour La Rose produces a perfectly balanced wine with round and fleshy tannins and a fruity bouquet.
The Ybert family also owns the Domaine Vieux Taillefer in the A.O.C. Pomerol, and Château Les Polyanthas in the A.O.C. Saint-Émilion.
Sandrine Ybert-Bacles, 4th generation, took over the management of the S.C.E.A. on the retirement of her father, Daniel Ybert.
