Cultivated for almost 300 years by the same family and with the same attentive care, the Château Piron vineyard is located on the gravelly and clay-limestone slopes of the commune of Saint-Morillon.
It currently produces each year some sixty barrels of white Graves and about thirty barrels of red Graves.
Thanks to its grape varieties and particularly careful vinification, the white wine of Piron, dry, light and fruity, is increasingly appreciated by connoisseurs.
The many awards won at the various competitions and exhibitions in which it has taken part, from the silver medal at the international exhibition in Liège in 1907 to the gold medal at the Concours général agricole in Paris in 1964, bear witness to this.
As for the red wine, light and pleasant, it is always distinguished by its finesse, one of the characteristics of Graves wines.
