Located on the well-exposed west slope of the commune, l’Enclos is made up of 38 plots spread over the 3 terraces of the famous plateau, the largest of which gives the property its name. Its area is almost 9 hectares on a silica-gravel soil with veins of clay and a subsoil of iron residues.
Traditional vinification and ageing are combined with technical progress: thermal monitoring of the vats optimising fermentations and the extraction of noble elements, pneumatic pressing safeguarding the quality of the berries, and bottling exclusively at the château.
All these perfectly mastered techniques allow the qualities produced by this well-maintained vineyard to develop in the best conditions and produce an excellent wine.
