Château Lalande

Château Lalande has been a family estate for several generations, of which 11 ha are wine-growing land.
This vineyard, located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, produces some sixty barrels of a particularly well-balanced wine, thanks to a judicious mix of heavy soils, which give full-bodied wines with a good bouquet, and light soils, which bring mellowness and finesse, and to grape varieties suited to each type of soil.
Attentive to the observations of scientists (an agricultural technician for viticulture and an oenologist for vinification), the owners are keen to benefit from their knowledge. They nevertheless continue to enhance the solid Médoc traditions (harvest by hand, long maceration, ageing in oak casks, etc.), which have for centuries made it possible to produce wines whose qualities are recognised throughout the world.
The cellars of Château Lalande are located on the boundary between the vineyard and the Médoc forest, on a particularly pleasant site. They allow the wine to blossom in calm and tranquillity.
Visits and tastings there are generally much appreciated.
