Under the Brush of Élise Disclyn

A watercolourist, Élise Disclyn specialises in creating bespoke illustrations for wine properties, combining artistic precision and the showcasing of heritage.

For a limited edition, Château de La Dauphine (Fronsac) entrusted me with creating a collection of six watercolour labels:

  • the typical landscapes of the “little Tuscany” of the Fronsadais, between slopes and limestone plateaux, close to the Dordogne,
  • the history of the Château, its royal link with Versailles, and the imprint of Marie-Josèphe of Saxony,
  • the preservation of biodiversity thanks to sheep and bees,
  • the meticulous work in the vineyard as in the cellar, where precision and sensitivity meet to reveal all the purity of the fruit and the elegance of the estate,
  • wine tourism, experiences and the French art of living, thanks to the women and men who bring them to life…

Each illustration reveals a facet of La Dauphine’s identity, while a delicate pink thread links the six creations, like a discreet common thread.

Designed to live well beyond the bottle, these illustrations have become storytelling supports: they extend the tasting experience, match the property’s visual identity, and create a collector’s item that enthusiasts enjoy keeping.

Indeed, these watercolours have also been adapted for different communication materials (greetings card, website), helping to build an elegant and coherent visual world around the property.

Bespoke creations designed to tell, with elegance and authenticity, the singular story of each wine property.
