Survey “The Main Challenges of the Wine Industry”.
This survey gathered more than 700 responses. A dozen key questions were selected. VINOTRACKER, a member of INNO’VIN, analysed this data and developed an intuitive visualisation tool, now available through WICA members.
The EPAWI project (European Partnership for Auxiliary Wine Industry Innovation) supported, between 2021 and 2024, the internationalisation of European suppliers to the wine industry (SMEs) through missions, webinars and meetings with European and international players. It also made it possible to identify cross-sector solutions suited to the wine sector.
EPAWI gave birth to WICA (Wine Innovation Collaboration Alliance), a European innovation network that fosters collaborative projects, technology transfer and the internationalisation of the wine sector.
It is within this framework that the survey was carried out. Inno’vin is also coordinator of the project, together with Agrifood FVG (Italy), INNOVI (Spain) and ADVID (Portugal), with the support of VINIDEA (Italy). This programme was funded by the European Union’s COSME Programme.
