Reopening of the restaurant La Chapelle de Guiraud – Sauternes
A new page in the history of Château Guiraud opened at the start of 2025.
After several years of collaboration with the Maison Faber-Lascombes, the Château is pleased to announce the reopening of the restaurant La Chapelle de Guiraud.
At the helm, chef Yoann Amado, who also heads the gastronomic restaurant Le Cercle Guiraud in the village of Sauternes, offers here bistronomic cuisine celebrating local and seasonal produce, favouring as far as possible the harvests from the Château’s organic vegetable garden.
At La Chapelle de Guiraud, French tradition is reinvented: classics revisited with a contemporary touch, for a delicious experience.
In this preserved setting, La Chapelle de Guiraud becomes the ideal venue for events. Weddings, family celebrations or business events such as seminars, meetings or company evenings: every occasion finds a unique atmosphere here. Each event is tailor-made, with particular attention paid to detail, to meet the specific expectations of every host and offer unforgettable moments.

Château d’Yquem – Release of the 2022 vintage
Château d’Yquem announces the release of its 2022 vintage.
A vintage marked by extreme weather conditions: a scorching summer and prolonged drought caused anxiety before the rain, awaited until 15 October, triggered an ideal development of Botrytis cinerea.
The harvest thus gave birth to a powerful, sunny and exuberant wine whose signature recalls the great vintages shaped by intense heat. From anguish to triumph, 2022 stands out as an exceptional vintage, designed to stand the test of time.
📅 Official release: 19 March 2025.
