The estate

In brief

The first edition of “Bordeaux et ses vins” (1850) mentions Château Corconnac as one of the main growths of Saint-Laurent. Charles Cocks even went so far as to say that “the wines of Saint-Laurent are very good, fragrant, fuller-bodied and firmer” than those of some of the surrounding communes. The second and subsequent editions (1868) placed this wine among the Crus Bourgeois Supérieurs according to the custom defined by the brokers. Today, owned by the Pairault family since 1990 along with Châteaux Teynac and Les Ormes in Saint-Julien de Beychevelle, it has benefited for over twenty years from a resolute quality policy.
