Formerly an estate of the Ardurat-Sudrat family, Château Beauséjour has been passed down by inheritance for five generations. It is located on the ridge line that extends the Fronsac hillock towards the north-east.
Benefiting from a clay-limestone soil with an alios base, an exceptional exposure, and located on north-east-facing slopes enjoying good sunshine, this vineyard produces delicate and very fine wines.
Its average production is 45 barrels.
Its second wine, Château Faure-Beauséjour, has an average production of 80 barrels.
M. and Mme Jacques Melet also own Château Bel-Air in Pomerol.
