Château Rocher Lideyre

Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux • 33 HA

The estate

In brief

The origin of this property is very ancient, since drainage pipes dating from the First Empire have been discovered in the vineyard.
After a period of decline, the arrival of the new owner, Monsieur Philippe Bardet, allowed a fresh start on new foundations. A total, modern drainage system was installed.
The wine produced is characteristic of the appellation; rich in colour, full-bodied and with a fine nose. Well balanced, it is full of promise and can thus withstand long ageing.
S.C.E.A. des Vignobles Bardet, run by Philippe Bardet, manages all the châteaux belonging to his family:
– in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru;
in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, Château Franc-Le-Maine and in the commune of Vignonet, Château du Val d’Or, Château Pontet Fumet and Château du Paradis,
– in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux;
in Gardegan-et-Tourtirac Château Lideyre and Château Rocher Lideyre and lastly Château Picoron in Sainte-Colombe.
