Of very long-standing renown, this magnificent vineyard, entirely planted with the noblest Gironde grape varieties, enjoys a privileged position.
Ideally situated at the foot of the south slope of the Saint-Émilion hill, on land that is sometimes gravelly and sometimes silica-clay with beds of alios in the subsoil, it benefits from maximum sunshine.
This situation, the vigilant care given to cultivation, and meticulous vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats give the wine of Château Gravet-Renaissance all the breeding of the best Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
Aged entirely in barrels, its remarkable ability to age for long periods, its very personal stamp, its distinction, the exquisite finesse of its sap and the pleasantness of its bouquet naturally commend it to the attention of the most discerning gourmets.
Out of environmental concern, a conversion of the vineyard to integrated pest management began in 2005. This concern for quality across the whole production gave rise, among other things, to a cuvée named Grande Renaissance from that vintage.
