Located on the upper part of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, the château Grand Ormeau vineyard, covering 13.7 hectares, benefits from a very subtle subsoil and from grape varieties in which Merlot dominates alongside Cabernet.
The wine of château Grand Ormeau is the fruit of traditional vine growing, harvesting by hand, and vinification and ageing in oak barrels in a vat room and cellars that combine modernity and tradition.
Beyond France, château Grand Ormeau is well known in Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United States. The annual harvest is about 60 barrels of red wine.
