The Château La Fagnouse vineyard was created in the 19th century by the Vacher de Corbiac family. Their descendant sold it to the present owners in 1920.
The traditional grape varieties of its vineyard, established at the foot of a clay-limestone slope, produce a naturally powerful wine with a rich bouquet.
Attentive and rigorous vinification and ageing in oak barrels help to reinforce these natural qualities.
The consistency and finesse of its production make it stand out, and its old bottles stand up well to comparison.
Château La Fagnouse has won numerous awards at the national agricultural competitions.
