Clos de l’Oratoire is located to the north-east of Saint-Émilion, beside the road leading to Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes.
This cru, adjoining Château Peyreau, is detached from it, although it belongs to the same owner.
Clos de l’Oratoire is made up of the part lying on the sandy glacis that stretches out at the foot of Soutard and Sarpe and which has very fine vines. This is why it was classified in 1969.
The wines of Clos de l’Oratoire are vinified in a vat room equipped with wooden vats and aged in new barrels.
