The estate

In brief

The château Le Crock estate was acquired in 1903 by the Cuvelier family, who also own château Léoville Poyferré in Saint-Julien.
Classified among the Crus Bourgeois du Médoc, château Le Crock produces wines that stand out for their great finesse, a very delicate bouquet and body.
Since 1999, major investments have been made: construction of a new vat room with temperature-controlled stainless steel vats of different capacities, harvesting in small crates, a new harvest reception area and a new barrel cellar.
This estate, surrounded by the Grands Crus Classés château Cos-d’Estournel and château Montrose, farms 32 hectares of vines, the best plots of which produce the wine of château Le Crock. After a strict selection, the other plots make up the second wine, château La Croix Saint-Estèphe.
The property is now turning towards wine tourism with the creation of a reception room and the introduction of visits (tasting, shop…).
