The colour is striking, purple red, tending towards garnet. The nose is very rich with aromas of ripe, even candied, red fruit. A richness also present on the palate, full of finesse and concentration, with tannins that subtly harmonise power and silkiness, tinged with delicate notes of spice.
Its complexity and structure make it a wine for long ageing.
