Nestled in its green setting, magnificently located on a gravel rise a few kilometres from Pauillac, Château Peyrabon suddenly appears at the turn of the perfectly aligned rows of vines.
In the heart of the Médoc, Château Peyrabon is built in the middle of its vineyard. A drive lined with vines leads to this magnificent Renaissance-style building. This art first arose in Italy and was then gradually introduced into Europe. In France, it was discovered during the battles against Italy in the 16th century.
Four towers were added to the manor house in 1821, which soar proudly towards the sky. It is topped with a slate roof which, in fine weather, reflects the sunlight and makes it sparkle. After nearly 250 years, these simple and elegant forms are still current.
A wooded park surrounds the building, where centuries-old magnolias (planted when it was built) bloom . They complete the setting of this château steeped in history.
