Château Clos du Moulin has existed since the 19th century, with the Boyer family as owner. In 1932, Château Clos du Moulin was classified as a Cru Bourgeois du Médoc. The vines are located in the commune of Saint-Christoly on the banks of the Gironde, with a Gironde gravel terroir, and in the commune of Couquèques on a plateau with a clay-limestone terroir. In 2011 it was bought by the Paeffgen family. The investment in a new cellar, located in the commune of Bégadan, with ageing in new and one-year-old barrels, marks a new qualitative stage for this growth.
