Château Haut-Myles, Cru Bourgeois 1932, is located on the heights of the commune of Blaignan.
Its vineyard, almost in a single block, consists of a large proportion of old vines facing east-west and has a particular blend of grape varieties that produces wines that are rounder and more appealing in their youth. Particular care is taken to give a more fruity style of wine. As a reward for these efforts, fine medals have been won by recent vintages (gold at the Concours des Vins d’Aquitaine for 2002 and 2003, silver in Paris at the Concours Général Agricole for 2004 and 2005).
The making of its harvest, combining the most modern vinification methods with traditional ones, yields a wine with good tannic structure, full of finesse and bouquet; its quality is sought after by the Bordeaux trade.
The société civile fermière d’exploitation des Domaines Landureau also owns Château d’Escurac, in the commune of Civrac-en-Médoc.
