About

WiSP is the meeting place for wine and spirits professionals and enthusiasts seeking access to the most prestigious training courses. Based in the heart of the city of Bordeaux, we deliver WSET® and FWS™ certified training courses, as well as customized on-site or e-learning courses. We work with prestigious partners and internationally recognized expert trainers. WiSP has three campuses dedicated to the wine and spirits professions (Bordeaux, Paris, Toulouse).

The WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) is the global benchmark for the wine and spirits industry. From initiation to the most expert level, WSET courses teach theoretical knowledge of the world's wines and spirits (terroirs, production, regulations, wine-growing regions) as well as professional tasting techniques. WiSP has been accredited to deliver these courses since 2010, and was even nominated as one of the eight best WSET centers in the world in 2017.

The French Wine Scholar is an advanced course specializing in French wines. The program includes French viticultural history, geology and the specific characteristics of each French wine-growing terroir, viticulture, oenology and winemaking, as well as the viticultural traditions and wine styles produced in each French wine-growing region. The complex regulatory aspects are also detailed. Last but not least, tasting is a key part of the course, illustrating the classic styles produced in each region and highlighting the diversity of our country's wines.
