La Croix du Casse is a single vineyard in the heart of Pomerol. This 9.5-hectare estate has great potential in terms of quality, with gravelly sandy soil on the famous Pomerol crasse de fer. The vines, which have an average age of 35 years, are predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Château La Croix du Casse is a wine of charm and seduction, a rich, fine product that is highly representative of its terroir. A second wine, “Les Chemins de la Croix du Casse”, was created in 2005.
