Château Clinet is located at the top of the Pomerol plateau, on the famous Gûnz gravel terrace, the birthplace of all the appellation’s prestigious growths. One of the oldest vineyards in the appellation, dating back to 1595, the estate was first owned by the Audy family and then by the Gan insurance group, before being bought by Jean-Louis Laborde in 1998. Ronan Laborde has been managing the estate since 2004. Together with the entire Clinet team, he has undertaken major transformations over the years: replanting, developing eco-responsible practices, building new production facilities and reorganising the distribution of Clinet wines.
