A Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé since 2022, Château Badette marks the rebirth of a historic terroir already renowned in the 19th century for the finesse of its wines.
Taken over in 2012 by the Vandenbogaerde family, the estate has quickly regained its standing thanks to a complete restructuring and a clear ambition: to express the singularity of its terroir.
The vineyard covers 9.5 hectares, planted mainly with Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The mosaic of soils – limestone, sandy-clay and alluvial – brings power, depth and elegance to the wines.
The estate has High Environmental Value certification, and places biodiversity and soil life at the heart of its philosophy.
The wines are distinguished by their deep colour, floral and fruity aromas, fine balance and long persistence, embodying the identity of a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé.
